At Düzce Esenli rangeland which worn excessively vegetation, the effects of control (A), fertilization (B) and seeding + fertilization (C) methods on the range`s grazing capacity and the botanical composition was investigated. Also, the average participation of the plants belonging to the families of wheat and legume and other families in botanical composition was 81.9%, 8.95% and 9.11% respectively. The participation rate of legumes in the botanical composition rose to 23.15% by means of the application of cultivation - seeding + fertilization. It should be noted that the dry weather condition, a considerable low moisture level in terms of long time annual average for the region, which lasted during the plants` active growth period in 2006, caused the production values to remain at a low level. As a result, the study showed that the application in which cultivation-seeding + fertilization is the most efficient rehabilitation method, considering the high rates grazing capacity and the increase in the participation rate of legumes in the range`s botanical composition.
