The standard raw materials, especially canola production of biodiesel production in our country is insufficient, raises the problem of being dependent. The first stage of this study the seeds of winter canola varieties Californium the crude oil extracted using diethyl ether by solvent extraction method. The obtained crude oil properties were determined, and this oil can be used as raw material for biodiesel production. In the second stage canola oil methyl ester was produced, 1 % catalyst concentration using potassium hydroxide at 55 0C reaction temperature, 1 hour reaction time, and 1:8 molar ratio by transesterification method. Under these conditions the methyl ester conversion rate is 98 %. Fuel analysis results were compared with EN 14214 biodiesel standards. Cetane number and cold filter plugging point, except for the winter values of all measured values were found in compliance with the standards.
