The main aim of this research is to determine the status of safety and training needs of the agricultural machinery manufacturers. For this purpose, the face to face interviews were conducted mainly with the manufacturers. It was evaluated the manufacturers training and skill levels. In addition; it was recommended some suggestions for demanding the sector need with these evaluations. All products, machinery and systems used in agriculture should be manufactured according to accepted safety standards. With this regard, it is crucial to put into force of 2006/42/EC Machinery Safety Directive in the proper sense. One of the most critical factors to fulfill this obligation is to improve the level of knowledge and skills of the manufacturers about designing and manufacturing of safe agricultural machinery.
